Prospective Membership

Dear Future Beth Am Member,

Thank you for your interest in Congregation Beth Am!

Our goal is to help you get acquainted with Beth Am. The decision about joining a synagogue community is a very important one, and we encourage you to take your time, meet our Rabbi, get to know some of our members, and attend services and other events so that you can truly make an informed decision. We are proud of our caring and spiritual community and we have wonderful clergy and lay leadership.

There are about 200 families at Beth Am that we reach through varied programs for preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults of all ages and stages. We have a wide range of spiritual, educational, social and social action activities as well. Check out our thriving youth programs, Itty BiTTY and BiTTY, that help provide a wonderful connection to Judaism and a strong foundation in Jewish values. Our youth programs offer opportunities for teens to meet others from around the state of Florida, and throughout the country thru NFTY.

We also have special groups like Sisterhood, Men’s Club, and a program for “adults at leisure,” Zahav. We celebrate holidays together, and are there for each other when special support is needed.

CBA celebrates the diversity of our membership. Our goal is for all of our members to form a meaningful appreciation of Judaism, and positive connections with other members. We believe that it is through the learning that we do, the connections that we develop, and the events that we share that the lives of our members are enriched.

Our synagogue is supported by dues and donations, and we strive to include all who would like to join us. We offer options for all interested members and will discreetly work with you to establish an affordable or reduced dues level that you are comfortable with.

We value the health and safety of our members. Due to COVID-19, we are choosing not to meet in person, but we still remain committed to our sense of community. We are connecting virtually through meaningful online services, classes and special interest groups. We invite you to connect with us virtually, including via our Facebook page.

Again we thank you for your interest and we invite you to reach out to any of us, or to Victoria Cain-Stull, our office administrator and/or Rabbi Jason Rosenberg, at (813) 968-8511 to learn more about us.  We are eager to meet you!

L'Shalom,
